Haría reminds dog owners of their responsibilities

Haría Ayuntamiento continues with its public awareness campaign to promote responsible behaviour among dog owners in the municipality under the title “your dog, your responsibility.”.

The purpose of the campaign is to spread awareness of the responsibilities placed on dog owners, reminding residents of what they must and mustn’t do.

1. In public spaces all dogs must be wearing a leash.
2. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dog with poo bags and urine disinfectant.
3. It is mandatory for dogs considered to be potentially dangerous to wear a muzzle.

Haría Ayuntamiento reminds its residents that failure to follow these regulations could result in a fine ranging between €30 – €150, or in severe cases up to €15,000.
