Real Madrid defender, Eder Militao, has posted photos of his holiday on Lanzarote to Instagram, adding his name to the long list of celebrities and politicians who choose the island as their holiday destination.
The Real Madrid centre back suffered a serious injury in August last year, having only played one game for Los Blancos this season.
During his recovery the player chose to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid to relax on Lanzarote with his young daughter.
Militao posted some pictures of his stay on Instagram with the caption “The reason for my life!”
The player is expected to resume first team training soon.
Real Madrid currently sit in 2nd just one point behind a surprisingly defiant Girona who, after finishing 10th last season, have had a fantastic start to the new campaign staying ahead of Spanish football giants like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
