Lanzarote’s Hindu community invites everybody to celebrate the festival of Holi today at the Plaza de las Naciones at Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen.
The event was originally due to take place last week but was postponed due to weather warnings.
Celebrations will start at midday and continue until 8pm, with DJs from Manchester, Bollywood dancing, Indian food and, of course, the traditional coloured powders that are the hallmark of the festival.
