Group of people trapped in a lift in Puerto del Carmen LIDL

A number of people were trapped in a lift at the LIDL store in Puerto del Carmen yesterday.

A group of people found themselves trapped inside of the lift at the LIDL store in Puerto del Carmen yesterday at 2:30pm.

Fire fighters rushed to the store after receiving reports, however, when they arrived, Guardia Civil officers had already forced the lift door open and rescued the passengers.

The lift was then closed off with tape and barriers.
