Comet C/2022/E3 will be at its most visible tonight, and anyone in a dark place without light contamination should be able to see a phenomena that will not be repeated for another 50,000 years.
The comet will be located close to the North Star, Polaris, and will remain visible for several m ore days – approaching Mars on February 10th. However, tonight is the closest it will get to earth and the best chance to see it.
Unfortunately, the spectacle may be affected by a light calima that is predicted for this afternoon and possible cloud cover.
