The seven-year-old girl who was knocked down by a car in Costa Teguise on Tuesday is in a “stable” condition and remains under observation in hospital, according to La Voz de Lanzarote.
The girl, who had been in a hairdresser with her mother and aunt, was hit when crossing the Avenida del Mar in Costa Teguise, suffering multiple injuries of a serious nature.
The incident occurred at 5.10 pm on Wednesday, and two ambulances arrived afterwards, establishing that the child has multiple injuries of a serious nature. Once stabilised, the girl was taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in a medicalised ambulance.
