The Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, visited the new lighting in the Charco de San Ginés this week.
After an investment of over 300,000 euros, the Charco has a brand new set of 232 LED lights on 75 lampposts. The energy efficient lighting now provides less harsh lighting and is a more economical solution than the previous lighting.
While visiting the new installation, Pérez stated, “The renovation of the street lighting of Charco de San Ginés is one of the projects we promised to the neighbours when we came to the Government of Arrecife and, once again, we have fulfilled. With these new lights we can see a great transformation of this area.”
