Fred Olsen have announced that next month they will start using their new “Buganvilla Express” to ferry passengers between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. A boat that has a capacity for 250 total passengers.
The new ferry is 26 meters long and 9.80 meters wide, and will house two 1,470hp engines. The new Buganvilla Express also has an indoor and outdoor deck, as well as a bar/cafeteria service and on-board entertainment.
Fred Olsen general manager, Andrés Marín, stated “this act is the culmination of the construction process that has been developed by Rodman, in collaboration with the technical team of our shipping company. Once the final testing phase is completed, the Buganvilla Express will begin service between the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in June”.
