Four Romanian hikers rescued at Caldera Blanca

Four Romanian hikers called for rescue yesterday afternoon, who were struggling with the difficult terrain and couldn’t carry on.

At approximately 6:30pm, four hikers at Caldera Blanca called for help after they found the terrain too difficult to continue hiking through.

After receiving the alert, firefighters had to trek through Caldera Blanca to find the four Romanian hikers who were near the top.

A helicopter arrived to pick the four up and take them to the parking area where their vehicle was located.
