Arrecife Local Police have identified the person responsible for leaving a large amount of household furniture and appliances on the side of a public road in Argana Alta.
The police began investigating the incident after receiving a report about a large amount of household goods being left on the side of a road on Calle Tenderete.
The dumped items included two refrigerators, an oven, furniture and other items. Also within the rubbish pile were various documents with the names of Arrecife residents on them.
During the investigation the police identified that the perpetrator was a person hired by a property owner in Arrecife to get rid of old furniture.
The perpetrator could face a fine between 2,000 and 100,000 euros.
