Firemen rescue dog from Famara cliffs

Firemen rescued a dog from the Famara cliffs on Thursday morning.

The animal was reported as being trapped on a ledge about eight metres high, near the Mirador de la Caldera with no way of escaping. The firemen descended on ropes and rescued the dog.

Once the animal had been checked and found to be in good condition, local police contacted its owner and returned it.
