The emergency services were called to rubbish bin fires in Charco del Palo and Tinajo yesterday.
At approximately 8am, fire fighters were called to Charco del Palo in the north of the island to extinguish four rubbish containers that had been set on fire. Unfortunately, the bins were destroyed in the fire and will need to be replaced.
Later, at approximately 7pm, they were called to two more fires in Tinajo. Both bins had been destroyed in the fire and will also need to be replaced.
