Fire fighters were called to the Costa Sol apartments in Puerto del Carmen yesterday morning.
At approximately 10:30am, the emergency services received an alert to a transformer fire at the Costa Sol apartments.
Upon arrival, the fire fighters saw black smoke coming from the unit and quickly disconnected the electricity.
The fire was safely extinguished, and the area was ventilated to remove the smoke.
No injuries were reported.
