The Cabildo has spent €16,000 on three fencing pistes, which will be installed at the Ciudad Deportiva sport centre in Arrecife.
The three courts are portable, meaning they can be dismounted and rolled up. They will come with electric equipment for marking and detecting strikes.
It is expected that the pistes will be operational by the end of the year.
