Arrecife’s Castillo de San José will host the EMEC electronic music festival on 15th May, with international DJs including Germany’s Melanie Ribbe and the Yorkshire DJ wAFF.
EMEC stands for Ecology, Music, Electronics and Culture, and the festival has taken place for several years in Tenerife. However, this is the first time it has arrived on Lanzarote.
The nine-hour festival will begion at 3pm on 15th May at the Castillo de San José.
The festival will also offer a Local Heroes stage for Lanzarote artists, and there’ll be exhibitions of paintings by local artists and local food on offer, too.
