Dr Jose Molina Orosa patients enjoy special Canary Day menu

The Arrecife hospital prepared a special menu for its patients yesterday, to celebrate Dia de Canarias.

Yesterday all public Canarian Health Service hospitals offered a special Dia de Canarias menu for patients, using local products from the islands.

With some patients having special dietary requirements the menus were altered slightly to accommodate all at the hospitals.

Arrecife’s Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital offered a menu to its patients consisting of a papaya and queso blanco salad, sancocho canario with sweet potatoes and Canarian potatoes with mojo sauces of course.

For patients with dietary requirements, they were offered a watercress soup and a gofio mousse.
