A hiker was rescued at Caldera Blanca yesterday afternoon, after becoming dehydrated with no water on a day in which temperatures reached the 35 degrees Celsius.
After being alerted to the dehydrated hiker, fire fighters and an ambulance arrived at the scene to assist the woman.
According to the report, she suffered from bronchitis and had no water while hiking during the hottest time of the day.
Once reaching the hiker, fire fighters gave her water to drink before bringing her down to the ambulance for further treatment.
