A 42-year-old man, well-known to the police, has been arrested after taking advantage of the carnival chaos in Arrecife where he stole from several stalls and a local bar.
The National Police have arrested a 42-year-old man after opening an investigation into several complaints of theft during Arrecife’s carnival celebrations.
According to the report, the 42-year-old with an existing criminal record, forced open stalls in search of cash, cooking supplies and alcohol (also doing the same a local bar on the Avenida Marítima).
He had been released from prison a few weeks ago for similar crimes.
