Car knocks wall down in Arrecife

A car knocked down a low stone wall at the roundabout on the western side of Arrecife on Sunday.

The incident took place on the roundabout between Calle Manolo Millares and the Rambla Medular, an extremely busy intersection with eleven exits and entries.  Sources indicate that it could have been caused by a driver falling asleep at the wheel.

Emergency services attended the scene to clean up scattered boulders and a spillage of engine oil.
