Two people were injured when a car left the road and fell into a volcanic sinkhole in Tinajo yesterday morning.
The accident took place at 5.25 am, in the carpark behind the Craft Fair at Mancha Blanca, and followed one of the open-air dances that have been taking place as part of the Fiestas de Los Dolores.
When emergency services arrived, all occupants of the car had managed to escape. Two were given first aid on the spot and taken to the hospital in Arrecife.
