Turismo de Islas Canarias have unveiled their answer to Apple’s new Vision Pro VR headset, which may give the tech giant some serious competition.
The Canary Vision Project, unveiled by Turismo de Islas Canarias, “integrates incredibly advanced technology into an elegant and compact form, resulting in an incredible real experience every time you wear it.”.
Made from a unique piece of three-dimensional laminated glasses that allow for a truly immersive experience with a battery that lasts “as long as you can last on the beach.”.
The headset’s description states, “Canary Vision Project can turn any grey day into a sunny paradise. Extend your holidays and immerse yourself in real life, which is wonderful, especially in a place like this. And with more pixels than a 4K television for each eye, you can enjoy amazing content on any of our islands, whether from the sandy beach or from the mountain top.”
You’ve probably realised by now that the Canary Vision Project is in fact a pair of diving goggles – a humorous take on Apple’s VR headset. However, what Apple’s Vision Pro can’t do is offer its users a real experience like the one offered by Canary Vision Pro.
An advertising campaign with the slogan “Reality you can truly see, hear and feel” has been presented in major foreign markets including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Ireland as well as in New York where it can be seen right next to the advertising for Apple’s Vision Pro headset.
