Call to control buggies and quads in Haría

A political party in Haría has called for buggies and quads to be controlled within the municipality.

The Haria Municipal Platform (PMH) claim that the presence of these tourist vehicles is increasing, causing damage and annoyance on local pathways. They propose stronger regulation of the activity.

“We must remember that this municipality has officially declared itself declared free of pollution in any of its variants,” the party’s motion stated. “It is obvious that these vehicles that travel in convoy cause, among other things, unnecessary amounts of dust that affect not only the environment, but also the vegetation next to local roads.”.
