The CACT are continuing their artwork restoration plan as they breathe new life into faded art.

Last summer the CACT restored 17 pieces of art from the MIAC’s collection – this year they have tackled eight pieces from the Cabildo’s collection which includes César Manrique and several works by Pancho Lasso.

The CACT CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, stated “we are immersed in a process that will allow us to restore the shine and splendour to the most important public collection of works by contemporary artists in the archipelago.”.

The restoration consisted of a cleaning and preservation process which will breathe life into the artwork as well as protect it for years to come.
