Cabildo to transform calle José Betancort in Teguise

The Cabildo have announced that a plan transform calle José Betancort in Teguise by widening pavements to improve mobility is in motion.

“We have decided, after the request of Teguise Ayuntamiento, to initiate the procedures to transform one of the main roads of the city, as it is one of the entrances to the historic town and that runs through the centre from one side to the other,” stated Jacobo Medina.

“The main objective of the project is to adapt and modernise the road through the widening of the pavements to improve the mobility of the entire street.” “We will transform this road and make it an adapted, greener and friendlier space for residents and tourists,” Medina added.
