Cabildo supply Ayuntamientos with materials to manage cat colonies

The Cabildo have supplied the island’s Ayuntamientos with materials to manage cat colonies, an initiative that aims to ensure animal welfare.

Cabildo President, Oswaldo Betancort, stated that that this new initiative has a budget of more than 200,000 euros and its main objective is “to advance in initiatives that favour the welfare of these feline colonies”.

The island’s Ayuntamientos will be provided with materials including cages, traps, carriers, vests and identification cards along with other resources to ensure the improvement of living conditions of the cats.
