Busy day for emergency services in Haría

Yesterday was a busy day in the north of the island for the emergency services.

In unrelated incidents, two cars flipped over after leaving the LZ-1 main road to Orzola. In the first incident, at 8.12 am, a 19-year-old driver was freed by Guardia Civil agents and paramedics, and taken to the hospital in Arrecife

In the second incident, which occurred in the early afternoon, the driver had exited the vehicle when emergency services arrived and was not seriously injured.

In between the two accidents, firemen were called to the car park of the Mirador del Rio to extinguish a burning car.
