Building evacuated after restaurant fire in Arrecife

Yesterday a building in Arrecife had to be evacuated after a restaurant on the ground floor reported a fire in its ventilation system.

At approximately 3pm, the emergency services were alerted to a fire at a restaurant on calle Pérez Galdós in Arrecife.

Upon arrival, fire fighters evacuated the building before safely extinguishing the fire that had started in the restaurant’s ventilation system. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
