The body of a man was discovered by a walker early yesterday morning in the Barranco de Manguia, near Teguise.
The walker alerted emergency services at 7.44 am after spotting a wrecked car that had left the dirt track and was lying at the bottom of the valley, which runs between El Mojón and Teseguite in Teguise.
Emergency services confirmed that the body of a man was inside the vehicle. He remains unidentified at this moment.
