Arrecife’s San Ginés festival

Arrecife’s Fiestas de San Ginés come to a climax this weekend, with a concert by Techno Rumba pioneers Camela this evening at 8pm at Playa del Reducto

The big closing concert by Colombian reggaeton lover-boy Sebastián Yatra will also take place on the city beach tomorrow, also at 8.  It will be followed by the usual lavish firework display.

Both events are expected to be crowded, and extra bus services and parking places have been laid on by Arrecife’s council.  The city’s Line 3 bus service will run until 1 am, taxis from outside Arrecife will be permitted to operate and the site of the old Hiperdino supermarket in Valterra will be opened for parking.
