Arrecife ring road re-opens

The stretch of Arrecife’s Via Medular (inner ring road) between the football stadium and the Open Mall, is once again fully open to traffic after nearly three months of restricted access.

Two lanes of the road were closed for several weeks as work was completed on the city’s sewage system. The bus station will also return to normal operations.

No further works are planned for the Via Medular, but it has been announced that Calle Velasquez, the road between the Valterra branch of Mercadona and the Open Mall, on which the employment office is located, will be closed for several weeks later this summer.
