ALDI have just opened their newest supermarket in Fuerteventura, further continuing their expansion in the Canaries. Will Lanzarote be the next addition?
On Wednesday, October 26th, ALDI will officially open the doors of its newest supermarket in Fuerteventura. The new shop will have more than 1,300 m2 of retail space as well as over one hundred parking spaces (four of which will have electric vehicle charging ports).
In a press release the company state “with this new opening and the next ones planned for 2022, ALDI will have created more than 240 jobs in the Canary Islands by the end of the year, including office, shop and logistics platform staff.”.
It seems that the Lanzarote store will be one of the next projects for ALDI.
