AEMET issue weather warning this Friday

Spain’s meteorological agency (AEMET) have issued a temperature warning for this Friday, July 19^th.

The YELLOW temperature warning will be active from 11am Friday morning and will remain active until 8pm that night. AEMET issue the warning as temperatures could hit a maximum of 34ºC on Lanzarote.

Temperatures are expected to fall slightly going into next week, down from 30-34 to the high 20s.

Remember on the hottest days on the island you should be wearing a hat, long sleeved shirt and pants to protect yourself from the high UV. In addition, be sure to wear at least factor 30 sun cream and drink plenty of water.
