Spain’s Meteorological Agency (AEMET) have issued a temperature warning for this Wednesday and Thursday.

AEMET have issued a yellow TEMPERATURE warning for this Wednesday and Thursday, where you can expect temperatures to reach up to 34 ºC.

Last month, Lanzarote recorded the third highest temperature in the Canary Islands, with 37.1 degrees Celsius recorded on June 28th at the César Manrique airport weather station.

The temperature warning will be active from 11am tomorrow (Wednesday 12th) and will remain active until 8pm.

On Thursday the warning will activate at 10am and will remain active until 8pm.
