Spain’s Meteorolgical Agency (AEMET) have activated multiple weather warnings today.
AEMET has activated three yellow warnings today for WIND, HEAT and CALIMA. All of which will remain active throughout the day.
According to the forecasts the island will see temperatures rise to 34ºC, wind speeds reach 70 km/h, and visibility will be affected by a calima.
The wind and heat warnings will end tonight at midnight, however, the calima warning will remain active until tomorrow, Friday 31st, at noon.
