An accident on the southbound lanes of the LZ-2 road near the airport caused long tailbacks and delays at lunchtime yesterday.
The accident , which was reported at 1.15pm, involved “at least two” vehicles, one of which left the road. Drivers and occupants were attended to by paramedics and taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital, although no serious injuries have been reported.
