A 50 -year-old Polish tourists was rescued by emergency services after suffering a fall at Las Grietas in Tías.
The emergency call was received at 2.47 yesterday afternoon from Las Grietas, the naturally-sculpted ravines on Montaña Blanca that have become an increasingly popular tourist attraction in recent years.
The victim was attended by paramedics who discovered that she had suffered a sprained ankle. The ankle was splinted and the victim stretchered to an ambulance and taken to hospital.
