80-year-old woman dies at Playa Dorada

An 80-year-old woman died at Playa Dorada in Playa Blanca, yesterday.

Bathers carried the woman, who was not breathing, out of the water and attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. The cause of death has not been declared.

It is the second drowning in just over a week, following the death of a woman at Matagorda beach in Puerto del Carmen on September 3^rd.
