70-year-old woman found dead in Arrecife apartment

The emergency services found that a 70-year-old woman had died in her apartment in Arrecife last week, after someone reported that she wasn’t responding to calls.

Last week, the emergency services were alerted to an apartment on calle Ruperto Gonzalez after a report that a 70-year-old woman wasn’t responding to calls.

Upon arrival, fire fighters gained access to the apartment by an arial ladder platform reaching the window. Once inside, they opened the door to the apartment so that the medical staff could gain access.

The medical team found that the 70-year-old had died and called the police who later arrived at the apartment to carry out the corresponding proceedings.
