29-year-old injured after car accident

A 29-year-old has been injured after a leaving the road on the LZ-40 to Matagorda and overturning the vehicle.

At approximately 5am this morning, the emergency services were alerted to the LZ-40 road heading to Matagorda after reports of a car crash.

Upon arrival, fire fighters found the 29-year-old driver standing to the side of the car and wasn’t trapped inside. They were treated by ambulance staff before being taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
