14.2% increase in Lanzarote tourism

Tourism continues to grow on Lanzarote as the island recorded a 14.3% increase in visitors between the months of January and July this year, compared to 2023.

Breaking down the numbers, almost 1 million tourists from Britain have arrived on the island so far this year (977,766), followed by Ireland in second place (211,263), Germany in third place (201,522), Spain in fourth place (158,723) and France in fifth place (137,163).

Among the fewest number of visitors to the island this year are from Nordic countries (34,422), Belgium (41,335), and Italy (47,348).

A total of 81,298 visitors arrived on the island from “other countries”.
