If you’re a little too old for an Easter Egg hunt but still want to get into the spirit, this tasty Mini Egg Martini is quick to make and devilishly tasty too. Here’s our recipe on how to make it.
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)
• 5ml chocolate milk
• 50g dark chocolate, finely chopped
• 50g Cadbury’s Mini Eggs (HiperDino’s “Pecosos” eggs will also work)
• 2 tsp honey
• 4 tbsp Baileys
• 2 tbsp vodka
• Ice
METHOD
Warm the chocolate milk in a small saucepan until it reaches just below simmering. Add chopped dark chocolate to a bowl and pour over the heated milk, stirring until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a small blender or food processor, pulse the mini eggs until crushed.
Take two martini glasses and brush the rims lightly with honey. Dip the rims into the crushed mini eggs to coat the rim.
In a cocktail shaker, combine chocolate milk, Baileys, vodka and some ice. Shake well until chilled, then strain into the glasses.
