The end-of-course concert at Lanzarote’s conservatory (Insular centre of Music Studies) is an event that most tourists and expats miss out on, but the spectacle of students and teachers performing is always a rewarding and heart-warming event.
This year, the pandemic means that the concert will take place online, with 23 performances by artists or groups, including string and brass groups, orchestras, guitar ensembles, all of which have been recorded at home.
There’ll be pieces from Bach and Chopin, as well as by film composer Hans Zimmer and rock group Queen.
