Lanzarote’s capital continues to attract investment linked to tourism as the mayor announces the construction of two new tourist accommodation buildings that will open next year.

Next to the Parque Islas Canarias, a seven-storey building is under construction that will house a small boutique hotel mainly focused on family tourism. The local company in charge currently manages a luxury hotel also in Arrecife.

In addition, an area near to the Charco de San Ginés has been chosen by investors for the construction of the other tourist accommodation building with a design focussed on urban tourism.

Arrecife Mayor, Yonathan de León, was interviewed yesterday and confirmed these two upcoming tourist accommodation projects. De León stressed that Arrecife has a great future and that companies are planning to invest in the tourism sector as well as in the hotel and catering industry, commerce and logistics.
