Bidding has been opened for the contract to extend and renovate the terminals at Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport for a budget of €2.62 million.
The winning company will have a maximum of five years to complete the project, which will involve extending the main terminal (T1), renovating the inter-island terminal (T2), and connecting both terminals.
The proposal is part of Aena’s plan’s to improve the airport in the coming decade, with an investment that could reach up to 140 million euros.
The project also includes a commitment to “give the airport an identity linked to César Manrique”.
