Tomorrow, December 8th, is the Day of the Immaculate Conception, a national public holiday in Spain.
In combination with yesterday’s public holiday for Constitution Day, this means that we are in the midst of the December puente (bridge), when many Spaniards take a five-day holiday.
As a result, services are also likely to be affected today, especially outside of the resorts and larger shopping centres.
As a fixed national holiday, lower weekend electricity tariffs will apply tomorrow.
