Lanzarote legend Lionel Morales was welcomed by the Cabildo yesterday after qualifying for the Paralympics in Paris next summer.
Cabildo President Oswaldo Betancort and sports councillor Juan Monzón congratulated Lionel on his recent victory in the Paratriathlon World Championship in Málaga.
Betancort said “He is an example to all of us and to all athletes who chase a dream, because he has shown that with dedication and constancy you can reach the greatest heights”.
