Several hundred islanders gathered at Playa Reducto last night to see Rosana’s concert that opened the Fiestas de San Ginés in the capital.
However, many in the capital who stayed at home to avoid the heat still got a taste of Lanzarote’s biggest music star, as she toured the main streets of the capital on a truck, playing with a full band.
Rosana’s previous performances on her native island have always been warm and emotional, and this was no exception. Arrecife turned out in force to welcome a consummate professional whose greatest hits soundtracked the lives of millions of Spaniards and Latin Americans.
