Yaiza Ayuntamiento have issued a statement regarding the recent backlash faced when a photo of overflowing rubbish bins surfaced online.
The statement read, “In view of rubbish collection incidents this weekend, Yaiza Ayuntamiento would like to state that it has summoned the company that provides the service to an urgent meeting to hear their report on the facts, while we carry out shock measures and alternatives to solve the issue.”
“We apologise to the public and thank you for reporting your complaints.”.
