These new vehicles are another example of how we want mobility to be in Lanzarote and represents a new success for the CACT and an island that want to remain at the forefront in the fight for a greener and more sustainable future for the planet”, Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, stated.
CACT CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, highlighted the value of an initiative “that allows us to modernise our fleet and continue with the strategy for more sustainable and energy-efficient mobility.”
Perdomo recalled that the Tourist Centres currently have 23 electric cars (or cars powered by renewable energies) and are looking to expand the existing fleet.
