More than 500 elderly people enjoyed a meal held for the participants of the 21st edition of the Bola Canaria de Madera tournament.
This Monday, the Lanzarote Cabildo organised a meal at the Monumento al Campesino for the participants of this year’s Bola Canaria tournament. More than 570 people attended the meal, from more than 100 teams that took part.
Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, expressed her gratitude “to all the elderly people who took part in this Christmas celebration of the union that this sport has achieved, which reinforces the great success of the competition.”.
The Cabildo’s Sports Councillor, Alfredo Mendoza, celebrated the reception and assured that it will be organised again next year.
